Jewel does not seem to enjoy car rides. Hm. I think we need to try a crate in the car.

YES; also, gives her a place to go when the dog is too much. Well. ANOTHER place to go; we put a baby gate on the stairs so she can get up but Jewel can't.

Safe places = well adjusted kitty

Yep. Well, now she has a TOWER.

And Jewel has a few cozy spots as well; her crate, a mat-pad that she carries around sometimes and tends to live in the front foyer and my studio, and a pad in my bedroom.

Due to Legos and other consumables, we tend to keep her out of the upstairs just yet.
