I was never that close to my dad's parents. We went there, talked etc. but they were rather stiff and unyielding and kept up barriers. But my mom's parents ? I adored them. They weren't perfect, but they were so incredibly kind I adored them. And, naturally Grandma was 'the greatest cook ever'

Which I'm sure lots of folks say about their beloved relation 😉
