Honestly, I've been tempted to try my hand at some young adult fiction where inner city kids are sent to a 'cooking school' for rehabilitation etc... only to discover that in addition to good cooks, the volunteer staff include alchemsists, wizards and witches . If you will clean the dishes, and listen to them when they tell you how to grill, bake and broil.... they might teach you a few things...
