There -are- gators in the area, but not the yard... but free-roaming cat is FREE>

It's like a playpen. When we put in the screened-in porch, there will be a pet door in the french doors in the bedroom and they'll have access outside like that.

And somehome managed to get up to ans squeeze through the tiny bathroom window to escape again! ...He was on the porch waiting to come back in that afternoon, and stayed in since then

Shylock was an escape artist. He would go outside, and promptly go to the front porch and meow to be let back in.

We had to post lookouts to see HOW he was getting out

Jack was an outside alleykitten, and when I brought him in, husband was away on a business trip, but I Wanted That Cat. And then he proceeded to CATERWAUL at the top of his lungs for hours until I actually put him back outside

We're on the top floor of a 6 floor, 16 unit condo building, and if you forget to watch when the door is open, Pekoe will escape. Not outside, though! He likes to go down one floor, down the hallway, and then MROWL at a random hallway spot on 5th floor

We joke that his registered name should be "Finest Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe "

Valencia tumbles down the stairs in front of the workman. She arches, puffs, and challenges him to chase her. He appreciates her bravado but carries on with his work. I explain he's not here to play with her; she responds by hiding behind a carpet (laying flat on the floor, btw) and then springing to her feet and, puffed and arched, thunders away....
