Hurricane shutter guys were supposed to be back Monday. They were back today at 10. There is some drilling required to secure the shutters to the house, which is fair enough. They are working on the corner of the house where the bedroom is. Where I was. Sleeping. I am not sleeping anymore.

I don't mind having the shutters moving forward ahead of prediction... but....

OTOH, I told the DH last night that if we ever divorce I was going to marry the bedroom shutter. So.

But, you can 'lift' the shutters slightly, opening the accordion up and making it a little lighter, or roll them up halfway, or all the way....

Oh, I'm likely to do that in HammockLand in the back of our camp. Yeah, I might save a bunch of mending until Pennsic, but I want to make sure I have at least enough to wear for a day or two.

I have no idea what might fit that didn't fit a few months ago.

I had a good surprise yesterday...I discovered that contrary to what I had thought, I didn't get rid of all my "skinnier" clothes last year, but put them away...and soon they'll fit again, so I took them out of storage and put them in the closet.

The cottage is coming along. Hot running water to sink & shower!!
