Oh good lord. Folks just look for.. look, I'm not White Wolf's biggest fans, I like some of their games but that's it. But this looks like outrage in search of a target.

I'll agree that ww can be insensitive at times but 1) it tends to be more thoughtless rather than malign and 2) yeah dicedawg or whoever seems to just be stirring the pot; if you really had proof employees were sending you death threats you should be broadcasting that

Oh, I have no doubt White Wolf screws up. They put out a book on Gypsies that is infamous for good reasons. They missed some clue by fours there, even if it was with some admirable intentions. I think it was well intentioned, but it made the same mistake of say the 'noble savage' or 'all American Indians are mystical people', mostly positive stereotypes

I can't remember the mechanics, might have been like modified numina stuff maybe? But either way turning a group of people into a player class *tugs at collar Plus they don't like to be called Gypsies..There was also the Mafia book but I never read that

Now the Ravnos... hoo boy. Gypsy vampires whose clan flaw is a vice or crime....that one was an interesting corner WW painted itself into.

One of the sample chars in the revised clanbook had an interesting vice, he was destined to inevitably betray/let down people

In hindsight, Sorceror's Crusade would have made for a great MORPG. I know they were trying to do a whole WOD game for a while but that sounded like a clusterfuck
