I'm twitching about others 'pushing me' when I'm getting my food. I sometimes wait for ten minutes just hoping to get my food after everyone else has settled down.

You sound like my husband. It took him a long time to get comfortable with both of us being in the kitchen at the same time, but I eventually convinced him that doing the dishes together was a Good Thing.

Well, there are usually lots of different stations at a buffet.

I hate crowdss and lines, but it depends on the set up. Some buffets are spread out enough I don' feel like I'm in middle school cafeteria on a time crunch anymore
