Oh, it gets interesting. B's grand daughter's car died, AGAIn, so B's daughter loaned HER car since B's car was here (and I believed she mentioned the plan to her mom). Earlier B said "well, I THOUGHT of driving home but then YOU'D be without a car" .. wrong tact . "if the car is a problem, you let me know. I'm not afraid of uber" Sort of shut B up a bit.

B's daughter also pointed out that she can't go home because, you know ... thanks to self neglect, she can't take care of herself.

I want to say "Your daughter si treating you like a child? Perhaps that's because she thought there should be at least ONE adult in your relationship"
