Just walked the boys through making a smoothie and prepping bfast. They are good helpers.

We told them they could have cartoons today, so we could sleep in. And it's working.

I forgot to tell them to do dishes, so they get a pass there. And they started a load of laundry, so there's that.

Well, that's the -standard.-

Sat a.m. (or Fri p.m. if you're feeling froggy!) get up, make don't strip your bed, gather towels, and start a load of laundry. Guys.... you do not want your parents, esp. your MOM, doing your laundry. You don't.

Not like we're asking them to take it out back to the canal and beat it on a rock. Put it in a machine and push the buttons. You can figure out the remotes, you can do laundry.

I didn't do laundry until college

That way, the kids stuff is underway while we're asleep and when we get up WE can do laundry. And if they are smart they don't have to fold sheets and towels, just rehang.
