Oh Lord, he steps in it so bad. He took food upstairs to his room without asking for said food, ate it, didn't clean it up, and it was food I trusted him to put away. So that's 3-4 BIG violations.

DH wasn't eager to do that, Thing2 was DEVASTATED (but then, he always is). So I agreed to a month's worth of him working for me, any scut work, coming out of his play (not lesson) time over the summer.

Well, maybe I'ms a soft touch, but ice-cream IS special.

I don't disagree; I -wanted- him to be able to do it, but as a response it would have been immediate, short, painful, effective.

All the issues were things he knows bloody and full well are NO-GO.
