For Gerd, Mother and Father's day are the days she visits her folks graves. Vali didn't think making an anniversary of their death was good for the heart, but told her to pick a holiday. How could she pick just one? So they went to willows, and she looked at the stones knowing that because her parents in this life were kinian and not kithain, she would never know them again. So... she said good bye and hoped they could hear.
