Note to self: I am not allowed to oversleep or work on my room
Hear a clatter from my room, B has dropped her cane in the kitchen. I realize it is late, so I head up the stairs to see B is sorting through our medicine cabinet and on the phone with her daughter. She wants to skip Physical therapy because 'she has a headache' which could be legit, could be a fit. Who knows? I apologize, tell her I was doing things down stairs. She says "you had trouble down stairs" and I'm like "No, I had things to do down stairs" and she has this 'oh' nonplussed kind of thing.

So I'm feeling self conscious about not being there, even though it's not my job

I don't get what she meant with "you had trouble"...what did you think she was thinking?

I'm not sure myself, but I tend to think the worse. It felt like well, it must be trouble or you would have been up here, but that's probably me projecting

Honestly, I think she doesn't believe i DO anything here.

She's not helping her situation. Not wanting to go to phys therapy, and...it feels like she's being judgmental.

BUT...that could be me getting the story through your filter. I'm not sure.

Oh, I believe that her back is hurting. But that's what happens when you let your muscles atrophy over 10 years...rebuilding them is going to hurt. The headache? that might be an excuse to try to dodge.
