YUP. And the author translated it himself, and is IMMENSELY proud of his work, and has marked out EVERY SINGLE SYLLABLE EMPHASIS and EVERY SINGLE PAUSE and recorded sample readings and had me do sample readings and critiqued my sample readings, and I've never had such a perfectionist job to do for this audio work! And it's a BAD translation! So rhythm-bound it's terribly awkward.
