There's going to be some adjustment time needed.

It's actually not our guest. One of my House mates lately seems to want to correct my every comment or opinion lately. Seems to take everything I say as a challenge and top me, and yeah THAT breaks out my 'stand my ground until hell freezes over'urges

So I'm trying to decide between a "Dude, what the hell lately man?" or just taking the lumps.

Is it possible the other house mates need adjustment time too? Not that it's an excuse, but could it be a reason?

You're probably riht. lots of stress, and it's possible I'm a 'safe outlet'. Not fair to me, but possibly not conscious, and also, I could easily be doing it right back and missing it. Darn you, Mercury.
