Well, Fiona tend to be more open to Commoner input so that may work out for the better, meaninng no disrespect to the Late Nemasus

And Aesin thralls. And oooo, yes, the Fiona Nobles indulge commoner input, but they don't lead by consent - they still use the power of their title. If they were really the best leaders, they could do so without magical enforcement of a hierarchy.

And Zara does acknowledge some sidhe are good leaders, or can be good, honorable people. But she finds the system unjust.

And so far, she's had no major objections to Coradel's governance.... but she also refused to take a position.

Coradel's not terribly insulted by that...and she's trusting August's trust in Zara. If she were any house other than Fiona, I think she'd be far more cautious about letting an unsworn sluagh have domain over those treasured and carefully collected texts.

Well, to be fair, Zara would have refused a position from just about any noble, not just Cora.
