I have a machine

A French press is about as un-fancy a machine as it gets..... *chuckle* I have one; carafe-container, a push-down strainer, and a sleeve to protect from heat.

I don't weigh beans though. I just grab a handful and grind it. And you don't have to grind fresh, French presses work with pre-ground.

I have a Mr. Coffee. I got it in undergrad.

It's old enough to vote

I do single cup pourover, so the weight is fairly important

I generally only make one cup otherwise I'm normally fine with drip

I do have a teeny french press, but I would have to go fiiiiind it

tea gets the job done until I can manage to human enough for coffee
