Though I will also vehemently defend classic animated Cinderella, especially compared to live action remake

Cindy was tough.

Honestly, Cinderalla Disney animated was not my favorite, but yeah. I think folks wrongly assume she's like Laura Croft or Xena, and news flash, she did not have that to work with

She handled a terrible situation with grace and optimism and spirit, and damn well was an active participant in her own salvation.

So yes, she was captured and put in service. Geez. you would be too in that situation.
