I do think being elevated to Countess could be an interesting challenge, though I feel like it is a power level that isolates her

I worry that being a countess might limit her play

Countess could work is we had a LOT of higher level nobility and played that game, but I am less interested in it when it is mostly Bird-vs-theNPCs, even when they are lovely, imaginative and varied ones

And I totally see that point. I think keeping them together for now is best. If it turns out that in a year or two (If we keep going that long) you go "Countess me" we'll try to find an instory reason to make that possible for Sparrow.
