But then I've always been of the opinion that Clark is partially smitten with Lois because she's like noone he's seen before. She's fire, she's in a hurry and yet implacable and he gets a joy just watching her go. Meanwhile, his idealism in either guise just confuses her because she thought she was jaded and yet...bam, around him, she actually wants to believe good folks outnumber the bad and truth and justice and so on isn't so cheesy.
