Oh yeah. Some of them really have amazing space saving ideas. And when I was in my early twenties? I would have been 'cool'

2 pharmacists with 3 kids, 3000 sft house going "tiny"

Yeah. Folks are like "Wouldn't you want to live in California" and I'm like "I know it's huge and parts of it are lovely but.. no. I can't afford their crap towns, I sure can't afford their nice places" 🙂

Now, if I were a rich man, little diddly diddly dump... Duluth Minnessota was a gorgeous City, and I loved a lot of Wisconnisin, so a 'Summer home' there would be awesome. Then I would flee back south in the late fall 🙂

Heh. It's beautiful stuff like that that makes me laugh when I hear folks from the New York area claim that they 'live in the country' when they're from Long Island or something

That last is literally five miles from the house I grew up in

I can see how that sort of place could get a grip on your soulstrings

It really does

Growing up, my grandfather had a cabin up the mountain. Dad would take me and my brother there on his weekends, in all seasons

In the winter, you get this thick blanket of snow and the trees are girded in lace and the sky is very, very blue.

And you freeze your tucus off

the lower yough has lots of falls and rapids that freeze into bridal veils, and you get these lacy swags of ice on cut rock faces along the roads

Cabin had a big stone fireplace

My dad's birthday would have been the 18th
