Oh watching Housemates deal with the crazy

The Housemate's mother cannot walk. Cannot. The hospital wants to let her go. Her younger brother seems eager to carry her here, buuut we have a split level so that's an interesting challenge.

There are questions that spring to mind about other options but.........

Now, this old woman's son is not a bad guy, but he has 3 kids, and a small house. And so he's almost ready to beg us to take up nursing duties I think without realizing what that means. Like in we don't have the training ... so what my House mate is hoping for is to help her get physical therapy etc so she can walk a bit. Because right now, a nurse and/or a resting home is outside everyone's price range.

And I feel a bit like a jerk.

First, I'mma say a pray of thanks my folks are taken care of.

Second, I"mma pray for all'ya'll.

Otherwise... Housemate sounds like a good idea and... Communicate.

Yeah, the point is, if the woman is NOT strong enough to get to the bathroom then we don't have the resources she'd need to even leave here.

So right now, my poor Housemate is dealing with her mom, who ignored her when she told her to go the hospital two day earlier when she was sick (But could walk) and now is a mess to the point where we may not be able to help her (especially if she doesn't listen or sabatoges her medicare options) and her brother who is leaping to conclusions and panic that his mom is either going to get another UTI as she's left alone or he'll have to shove his mom in a closet.

None of those options are good.

I exaggerate a bit, but yeah. Best bet is if she can get cured, rehab to walk, and we can once more help her if she needs to move here (Which will be a challenge but not impossible)
