My bat-mitzvah was among the very first ones done in my congregation. Girls were not very invited to be religiously involved back then.

The Schwartzes are reform, but they're pretty frum. I wonder if one or the other parent was conservative first. My bet would be Hannah.

Heh, My Uncle/Aunt and cousins were Schwartzwes. Are, I suppose. We're out of touch. They were conservative. Until my Uncle became a born again Orthodox, and cut everyone out of his life.

I tend to be a little wary of any extremely conservative/'fundamentalist' denomination.
