Then again I love Nog's character development. The scene where he begs Sisko to help him get into Star Fleet Academy is hearbreaking. He's watched his dad , a man with amazing gifts at fixing and repairing, get zero respect because the culture he is in doesn't value it. And Nog sees that fate and just walks away from it into a great uncertainty. It's very brave.

*nod* Yep. Really, ALL the overall story arcs are great. There was a bit of sag right at the end, last season or so. New Dax, involvement with Bashir, etc.

Yeah. I'm rather fond of the Ferengi, mostly comedic, but some touches of serious stuff slipped in. The fact Quark was was as much a man of faith in his religion as any Bajoran was theirs was fascinating to me. "I'm a business man, and more than that, I'm a Ferengi businessman."

I felt sorry for New Dax's actress. Talk about coming in with big shoes to fill and bitter fans. The lady playing ezra herself was a big fan so it might have hurt some of the fan rage coming her way. That way, I blame the producers for that shift

I love the detailing in Feregni culture and all. The hand-poses, the tower of commerce, the paying to enter a home, etc.

And yes, I love the Ferengi. House of Quark? COME ON....

I did like the one where New Dax had to access her past life of a killer to track down the serial killer on the station.

My favorite characters were probably Quark and Kira. But damn, if Jadzia didn't get my hormonal attention, pardon if I overshare, but gorgeous woman

I did not like Bashir for the first two seasons, but he did grow on me, mostly because he bounced well with Garick and Miles. Oh god, he and miles got to be hilarious.

And I try to avoid OOC hostilities affecting my play, or IC hostilities affecting my OOC interaction. I have characters that don't trust Madeline, but I think the player can be nice, if focused on some things that have less interest for me. Here we get the reverse. I like some of the characters, but seriously, the player is such a child
