Right after Ahrlan (remember him?) vanished...and Brekke realized she didn't have anything of her own...very unseelie moment, she tore up the flowerbed that she and Ahrlan had planted in back of Firnost, and planted pumpkins instead. Almond, being 'helpful,' cast a cantrip on the plants right after she got them in the ground, to help them grow...and Brekke exploded at him. She was trying to have something that was hers, that nobody was interfering with, and it lasted all of three seconds before he involved himself in it.
