Just heard that same song on the radio as I entertained myself with CtD RP thoughts on the drive in to work.

So. Fun story

My son begged to have a playdate day with me today, which I know won't happen once he starts kindergarden and I am suddenly the least cool person on the planet, so I indulged him. He wanted to show me the library that he goes to with his daycare. I said sure, because libraries are cool.

BUT

But?

I've never been there before. He promises he knows the way from his daycare, so we bus out there and I let him lead.

An hour later, we still had not found this library, but he insisted it was just another block or two away.

We found ourselves at a mall... which is way the heck far from anywhere sane.

But hey, he napped like the dead...

but not before I let him indulge in bubblegum icecream for the first time (his bloods were starting to dip low).

what did he think of the bubblegum ice cream?
