As a note, I did try to explain how bad cold iron and the taking of a soul was with it. But he only ended up getting upset with me and calling me a lore hound or something of the like. So I backed off. I did not know he would end up bringing it up in the room!

Makes sense. The Gwydion is appalled mind you, but trying to keep his cool about it and be as professional as possible. he's not really being swayed by commoner rule at this point , but he also realizes it must have been a commoner that tipped him off so clearly SOME of them give a damn. 🙂
