Crafts are often dismissed as lesser, or that "craft" mediums cannot be recognized as art

happens a LOT, still, in the art world

But an Amish cabinet maker who hand-makes furniture is called a craftsman, even though what he does is hand-tooled and unique.

And a signed urinal is art.

But on the sheets for WoD, some of the....what is it called, secondary talents under 'crafts' is more practical-type things, so for semantics, I thought that was the distinction there.

Not so much for real-world stuff.

Carpentry doesn't fall anywhere, really, except maybe there.
