But, again, it has be worth his while. And there are those better at it; more stealthy, more knowledgeable about technique. Believe me, if you can get 16 year olds in gangs firing point-blank at each other and beating each other to death on the streets, someone like Ice can do it.

But Jer doesn't know that that's ALL Kel does. He thought Kel had his fingers in a lot of different pies.

But that doesn't mean it's EASY or he won't react negatively to it.

Look, I know that for some reason you want me to say he'll cry or puke or chicken out. But sluagh are a dark kith. They won't react as negatively as a human, IMO.

Second, he didn't LIKE doing it at Carnivale. He distinctly DIDN'T want to do it. But, he said he was going to, and he made himself do it, and got through it.

He satisfied himself that he can see someone die close up, with a blade in his hand in them, and deal with it. He proved it to himself, if no one else. (Which is why he no longer watches snuff, he doesn't need to.)

And third, he's not entirely human. He's lived before, and undoubtedly some of those lifetimes he was an assassin, or a poisoner, or somesuch. That carries over, I imagine, even if you don't remember it.

So is he capable, could he learn to do it, could he do it efficiently and without remorse? Yes. Is that his best talent, his most valuable one? Not at all.

But you won't know, until he does.

Well, no, because if you ask him to kill his mother, for instance, I can't say he'd react well. A stranger? I play him. I know how he would react.

At least, I know how he would react in ideal circumstances.
