I was shaking my head when Madeline was talking about how she kicked her codeine habit recently, in apparently a couple of weeks, and while it's in reach in Firnost, she doesn't go for it. I couldn't help thinking, she must not have been addict, just a recreational user.

Yeah. g Curious, but....cats will hide illness or injury, as you probably know. Each time I've taken my cat to the vet, it had to have gotten bad enough for me to notice. Like she had pnuemonia, and I only knew because she had labored breathing. She was acting normally otherwise.
