Apparently, and I'm not sure of this, when the actress who was playing Peggy had a RL miscarrage, some paparizzi tried to slip on the set and ask her about it... Well, the actors who played Al and Bud pretty much grabbed an arm each and threw the asshole out. Salutes

Reminds me of a line from a Han Solo novel where a lady 'cleans up nice' as part of a heist job working with Han. they had not hit it off. Han's thought when she comes out dressed up? 'An hour ago he wouldn't have thought she could have gotten a man in a prison colony if she were wearing a jetpack'

Ed is a better actor than he gets credit for I think. From what I understand, he got the job of Married with children by walking up to 'door' of the Set... and just deflating right in camera... all joy and spirit ripped out of him. That's when they knew they had their Al Bundy 🙂
