Simon -- not the sidhe Simon, but the sluagh one -- had his sluagh scream once, frustration or rage. And I never forgot how he did it, and I borrow a little off it.

I am use to Portlands Max and Bus system. Most of the stops are well lit. Drivers are mostly attentive and there are cameras posted every where. Also there is a collection of transit 'cops' and security.

Let's put it this way....cameras aren't always a deterrent.

Half the ones on buses don't work.

They used the camera system here the other day to find a lost child.

Thanks, but hope anyone would. I wouldn't let a guy friend ride, much less a girl.

Although, a funny story Liz told me. While she was waiting for me to come get her, some guys were harassing a girl. Right in front of everyone, a little distance off.

And before Liz could really register, she said an old man in a cane went after the guys.

They were threatening him, and he was spouting obscenities back, too old to care, I guess -- and then the transit cops arrived, and the guys took off.

I helped a young lady the other night. Some guys were flirting with her, but it was clear she did not want them around. So I went up to her and asked where she had been...and walked off with her. -G- then later I made a new friend. Heh.
