He comes from a paranoid family and was taught at an early age that if a sidhe smiles at you they want something. If they frown at you they mean you harm. And if they ignore you, you should count your stars and move away slow and easy so not to attract their attention. He's learning that's not true, but it's still hard to undo. He'll never trust another Balor after what he saw in the Dreaming even if memories are half faded

And he doesn't like Varich because they're trying to genocide Zara! Grrr

Clem on the other hand respects House Fiona. Say what you want about Tajier, but that countess has added flood victims, stuck her neck out for the farmhold's independence, and tried to help commoners in trouble more than once. Earl's not so sure

Sassy does not like sidhe, because of many, many, reasons. All to numerous to get into. But the big one is, so they come back. Cause a war that takes the life of her Grandfather (Satyr). Then want to be treated like they are perfect? Then also the little fact that they left oh-so-long ago. With no regard to anyone else.

Clem doesn't like what she's heard of Aesin, and a part of her is like "Hey! Nordic flavoring is OUR gig...back off troll territory, Aesir jerks"

And is it wrong to think...Maddy-dear..would sort of lack in skill in music AND art. Both are a focused discipline. Painting is not just slopping paint on the canvas..and music is not just being able to read sheet music.

Well, there are reinsurance men/women even in this day and age so it's possible she's quite good at both. BUT...for some reason I am biased in favor of Earl being the better artist...not sure why 😇

And I am in favor of Sassy being the better musician. ❤️

And I suppose my little Sis is good at both. -sighs- she is good at everything she tries though. Save for learning languages. That little skill was left to me.

Heh. One day Quin might visit and try to play a little. But I doubt Sassy would stick around to join him
