But what REALLY impressed me was the pledge to donate any leftover funds to clean water initiatives, or something similar, wasn't it BrekkeP?

Safe plumbing initiatives, yeah. It got donated, but it didn't become the big thing we were originally thinking.

He offered to settle, and we took what we could get, on our lawyer's advice. The VILLAGE is the party really at fault because they signed off on faulty property surveys, not showing the sewer connection properly. But they had better lawyers.

Wow...I forgot how many bands played at that fundraiser. We had 12 hours of music at that bar, a different act each hour. (Helped that we had a sound-tech/local music guy as a housemate at the time -- he REALLY wanted the sewer fixed, too.)

I'm looking at a calendar, figuring out when EBG&CC will be gone.

And thinking "Oh, well, no, can't still til the Sat after, the club's opening is in only a few days. Have to leave Vegas right after the convention so....."

It's a good thing I have RP, since we won't be taking much in the way of vacations for a while... *chuckle*
