The tech that came in today? Was coughing up a storm. I seriously considered calling the boss and saying I'm leaving early, to escape, but figured by then it was too late. I disinfected a few of the doorknobs, though.

Fey has asked me to correct her when she gets lazy or misspells, she is trying to reduce her tells and improve her writing. I do it, but I feel like a grammar nazi when I do.

Her: "I'm tired, its been a long day." Me: "IT'S been a long day."

Sure she wants to strangle me sometimes.

usually when I see stuff and my inner grammar nazi comes roiling to the surface I just try toforce it back into submission so I don't go nuts

one of my biggest peeves is how, on the internet, a largely written medium... people can screw up words that are right there in front of them sometimes

also, I don't know how other people's computers are set up, but if I make a typo or spell something wrong, a little squiggly red line appears under the word and it won't go away unless I fix it

Ahh. No, I don't think mine does? If so, I ignore it, because I use British spelling on some things, and it would be screaming at me constantly. "It's COLOR, you moron, no 'U' in it!"

my PC does make some of my writing projects drive me nuts sometimes, especially when I'm writing dialogue and I'm trying to write it phonetically to represent differences in speech and it still tells me "It's WRONG! FIX IT!"
