I think Monty liked to throw things in for sluagh players to frustrate them. One of them was to be able to see a new Wraith in their shrouds (?), but unable to do anything about it.

And then in Desolation, he had Wraiths being caught and Forged where sluagh could see and not act. It drove Jer nuts.

But he did use what Gen taught him -- he picked up a 2 x 4 and swung it, kept discorporating the Forger until they got tired of it and smacked him a good one.

I had wraiths bugging him there too. Poor Jer.
