Okay, got some good intel from Dyson.com. The Multi-ball is on sale EVERYWHERE for $100 off because the Multi-Ball 2 just came out 12 days ago. If I buy the Model #2 from Dyson.com directly, they'll ship it for free, include the pet tool ($40 value from Amazon, $60 value elsewhere) for free, and give me a 30 day free trial with free return shipping if I don't like it. Hmmmm. I think I'll go to a store I just discovered that's not far from me and test it out in person. If I like it, I'll decide if I want to try for the discounted older model or spring for Fancy New Hotness.
