I'm looking into creating a new team on a slack clone called Mattermost, by the way. If I am correct, it should function just like this, except that I'll run it on my own server, and we'll have the ability to change things that Slack has locked in. Such as omitting the markup language so that asterisks won't make your text bold, have permanent history, guest accounts perhaps, colors maybe...

but that's still something I'm considering, since we only JUST got everyone in here. :)

Oy. I just discovered that if I change the name to Ice, it changes all the legacy scenes to the same name. So guess 'one of those sluagh' has to work for both.

If you grabbed a scene with, say, Ice, while I had the name Jer, I think it changed the name to Jer for Ice.

It does - that's why I might just keep a nick on, and make it clear in the scene who is present. See above.

A couple quick tips - you can click on your posts to edit or delete them, and can also edit your profile to change your visible name.
You may want to set your username as your player handle, though it's up to you - that seems to be the general consensus.
The Username (@whoever) can only be changed once (or perhaps twice) an hour, but it can be changed.
