Siiiiiiiiigh.

"Everyone's a critc" He says "Okay, anything you two feel I'm missing?"

"I think we're good?" She looks down at her partner.

Symon simply nods, eager to get going based on his furtive glances towards the door.

"Then..." He says "one last thing, if you'll allow a fair fortune?"

A glance up towards Dagmar. "Seems kinda like ill-wishing to turn it down."

Vali prepares a paper and ink for the bunk if Dagmar is also okay with it

She nods, blindly seeking Symon's hand.

Vali writes out several symbols, words, and then, tearing the paper up into bits, blows it over them.

He grasps her hand, not having to look to find it.

A squeeze - firm, but never so hard as to hurt.

The magic flows over them along with the milkshift confetti... the luck settles in, perhaps dividing so they share it... for neither would want one to chance out safely while another was left behind.

"Nice" Vali smiles "Off you two go, leaving me to sweep this up."

"You chose the bunk, Mountain." A small smile and and easy shrug. "Thanks."

"YOu're welcome. I know I just cast it, but let me say it... 'good luck'"

She tips a two-fingers salute, takes a deep breath, and steps towards the trod - hand in hand with her other half.

And the two find themselves on the trod and in the Dreaming (But we'll keep using Odyssey), while on the Silver, at first, they are still in the near dreaming, hardly changing at all... but it is.. REFRESHING... like a good shower getting the first layer of grime off.

Symon gives him a little nod, walking off alongside Dagmar.

Refreshing, like a fresh layer of shadow on a moonless night.

Dagmar stands taller already, amber eyes bright and alert. Symon is against her left side - if there is any danger, that is the ideal position for her to get between him and it.

Symon starts to fade into her shadow, though his presence also is stronger here in the dreaming.

She casts a grand shadow to hide in. Broad shoulders, you know.

Their bird seems more robust, while still true to itself. It plays a tune in its unique voice... is that Anything for Boo by the Eels or Bring me to Life by evanescence?

No, no it is not.

Their heartbird might not be invisible, but it sings a song that only Symon and Dagmar can hear. 😉

Dagmar is keen and alert, ready for any threat... and perhaps her focus works against her, for while using her physical senses she is blind to some... subtleties

Symon however realizes that while it is not easy for anyone to DO in the Dreaming... someone is using tattle tale to watch them.

And... more worriesome, it doesn't feel like Vali

Dagmar feels Symon stiffen by her side

"Sy?" She narrows her eyes, looking for the threat.

He frowns, thoughtfully glancing up at Dagmar. "Someone is spying on us." He gives a fluttery flick of his hand in a way to indicate magical. "I would suspect Mom, just out of worry, but... she promised not to watch, um... "us"." He turns a bit purple, flushing to his ears...

"Anyone you can think of? Gerd wouldn't... would she?"

"Like - scrying? I thought you couldn't scry into the Dreaming."

Indeed, it's supposed to be very hard

Symon nods slowly, thinking, but... "Maybe this close to Samhain, it's easier?" He posits, uncertain.

"Like, the thin veil stuff? Huh. Could be. Don't think we're that exciting to watch." A small frown.

Hovering over them like an unwelcome voyeur, the cantrip contiunes to follow and defy the rules

Symon turns in a slow circle, and then a thought comes to him. "Unless they're not looking through the veil." He stops with his back to Dagmar's, and starts scanning their surroundings.

Dagmar draws Flyswatter, guarding.

One should not be able to leave tracks on the trod right? Well, why NOT... it happens to be a silver road, but ITs a road soo.. both notice scuff marks, RECENT ONES

Symon sinks, running a finger across the scuffs.
