“It is a GOOD name.” Janice says, with gratitude.

“And much better than ‘Patrice.’” Dad’s mom’s name… the lady is a rather shrewish sort, and never did much approve of Janice. Or of Diane, for that matter. They don’t see her often, which is probably for good reason.
