As she slips out, she notices the troll waiting for her. Perhaps the one Bachdion mentioned

If the troll isn't directly in her way, she breezes on past as if she hadn't even noticed...or even as though she expects that he'll behave himself in the presence of the Shining Host.

She sees the taser slip out into his hand as he tries to sneak up behind her

Troll sneak? Oh, that's adorable. She lets him get close, then a flick of the wrist and her blade is in hand, and she slashes at the hand holding the taser.

A howl of pain as fingers threaten to fly along with the dropped taser "Damn it!"

"I damn YOU," she declares, her blade still very much a threat as she moves to retrieve the dropped taser or kick it away, whichever is most feasible.

Kicking it likely is easier if she doesn't want to drop her guard from that left hand that's still big and meaty

It is kicked well out of reach. "Now...what did I ever do to you? I mean, before nearly maiming you?" Her smile borders on vicious.

"You are inteferring with my duties. " He shakes his right hand, flicking blood , once, twice...

She makes a quick dash past him as he seems to be casting a bunk, slashing at the hand again as she goes to interrupt his concentration.

Whatever he was trying, she intruded, slashing again and throwing him off "SHIT"

"Might want to get that looked at!" she calls back as she takes off down the street. If he pursues, it'll be a merry chase. If he doesn't, she'll find a spot to summon an Uber, or even hail a mortal cab. Either way, it all works.

Either he's not following, or he's just too slow.. either way she loses him, she's tempted to call an Uber, when a taxi pulls up near her, not a Knights Heart, but a regular mortal cab

She pauses long enough to get a look at the driver...fae? mortal?

She rubs at her eyes "Sorry, ma'am you may want to use another cab. I'm... feeling weird" no enchanted individual, this woman has a fae soul inside her . She's a changeling, but unaware of it "First day on the job and i'm baffled"

"Oh, my dear, I think this is going to be a very big day for you." She jumps into the back seat. "Drive. Now."

"I need to get to..." and she names the location that fae know as the Ducal hold.

A breath "Okay." And she drives saying "But I'm not sure I'm wel, I am seeing colors and hearing things. I swear i have never touched LSD or any other hallcinagins"

"If there's one thing you keep in mind right now, it's that I absolutely believe you. Also, that I need to get to my destination. That is your task. Trust yourself to achieve it."

She takes a look out the back window to see if they're being followed.

"What's your name?"

A car is following them "Dordi Glowfargen"

"Not a common name," she observes. "Well, Dordi, we're being followed, and that complicates matters for me. It's time for you to get clever with your driving skills."

"My grandfather used to drive an ambulance in the Korean war, you ever see MASH?" She presses "We're being followed?" A frown "You need to lay down flat, ma'am"

"Whatever you say, Dordi," she says with a smile, and does as suggested. This should be an interesting ride.

the following car tries to catch up, and a gun comes out "Pull over, we only want your driver" Says the Goblin pointing the gun with a wicked grin

Still lying down, Coradel rolls down the backseat window on the passenger side. "Just keep driving," she says.

Dordi glares, and then SLAMS the gunman and his car with the side of hers causing the guy to panic!

"No one hurts my ride!" Diordi snaps their way, and her skin flushes blue

"You tell him!" A flick of the wrist, and Coradel has her bow in hand. She shifts to kneeling on the floor and aims through the window, using her equestrian archery skills to help her aim.

She sees a surprised looking Redcap in the back seat who was getting his own gun out and aiming at hte taxi's tire

She aims right for that redcap's face.

She fires, and he swallows the arrow and gulps, then grins "HA HA"

And fires at their tire

But his laugh is premature as Dordi swerves at a lucky moment causing them to miss

"Well done, Dordi!" She rallies from the failure and fires at the driver, instead.

"Who are these freaks?" DOrdri asks "they don't seem human, and they drive without honor" She blinks "Why am I talking like this?"

"As I said, trust yourself. You are doing what you are destined to do. This mission is urgent!"

Coradel's shot ? Not her best shot, but it clips the driver a bit and forces a slow down

Which the budding troll takes advantage of "I swear this cab is shrinking"

Coradel blinks. That could be a problem. "You might have to hunch over, but don't stop!" She tries to get off another shot as they pull ahead of their pursuers.

the two shots, the one that grazed, and the one Coradel does now, wrk to throw off the pursuers and then Dordri hits the brakes, causing them to shoot past an infront of her, she then hitS the stick hard, accelerate,s and bumps the enemy's car into the exit lane whle they continue!

"I did it!" She says amazed "I trusted in myself as you said. I thought for sure we were going to die" she looks back at the radiant sidhe and her eyes widen "Beauitful" And for a moment she is caught, memorized.....

Coradel lets out a yelp of surprise as she gets tossed around the backseat, but it's not at all a sound of dismay! A laugh, then "Thank you, but do watch where we're going, if you would."

"You did beautifully, Dordi. But the task is not yet done. How far out are we from our destination?"

"Yikes" Hard swerve "Almost there"

Indeed, a few minutes tops
