"I have a suspicion that somewhere in these clubs we might run into Baron Tiogair. I don't know if you saw me talking to him when we were here last. He seems to have an interest in this whole situation, and he's also apparently a ruthless poker player. But..." she waves it off lightly. "That's merely a possibility.

"Oh, I'd rather have her on the outside as a fifth column reserve, should we need her." She winks.

"As you wish." he says quietly.

She moves closer to him and touches his cheek. "We will figure this out, my love. We will restore Shalimar's reputation, and by extension our own and that of EarthRunes."

"And ideally, we'll unravel the mystery of the missing tithes, as I suspect the matters are intertwined."

Bludwen returns with some clothes "The Duke and Duchess have arranged an audience for you... at 3 pm today"

A blink as she accepts the clothes. "What time is it now?"

"About 9 of the bell in the morning. "

Coradel utters an impolite invective with some force. "We have little time. August, here..." she passes him his clothes and starts to change right there, unconcerned about Bludwen's presence. "You will question Wynda while we are out?"
