((Some time later....))

THe morning light greets a new day

And the rare occasion of these three waking together. It might be tempting to linger...but there are plans to be put into action.

Unless there's anything to discuss, there is freshening and dressing and on to their tasks -- Bachdion in search of Lady Wynda, and August and Coradel seeking out Dame Bludwen.

Dame Bludwen can be found having breakfast

"Good morning, Dame," Coradel says as they approach. "May we join you?"

Just as well, as breaking fast together is an excellent way to build rapport and trust.

"Oh, please," she rises 'i did not expect company but you're welcome"

"Thank you."

Coradel nods and takes the offered seat. "How does your morning fare so far?"

"slowly. I understand you've requested an another audience with their graces?" She motions to a boggan to get them some food

"Yes. Have you heard how they received that request?" She helps herself to a bit of scone and clotted cream.

"with surprise, I imagine" she says with some quiet amusement

"Quite likely," she says with a smile and pours herself some tea, then offering the teapot to August.

"I imagine something more substantial in the way of interesting information might make them more amenable to meeting with us."

the staff brings enough for 3 people

"Baroness. i'm not normally in the habit of sharing intell on such a basis"

"Oh, no, of course not. I'm not asking you to share anything. I'm hoping, actually, that we might be able to share something with you."

that has her pause "You have my attention"

Coradel's smile makes her eyes twinkle as she sips her tea.

August takes it on himself to pour the tea.

"Well, the possibility of us having something to share depends upon us being able first to locate the portrait of Baron Nemauses. Would you know where it is?"

"I sense an intrigue. Yes. yes I do. i assume ou mean one by VA?"

"I do, indeed."

"You do realize should you uncover anything, I will expect it be shared... no depending about it?"

"Oh, Dame, I expect you to be present throughout! That is, if you'd like a front-row seat."

"And you, Baron? Do you hope the same?"

"I do."

"We may go as soon as you are finished," she indicates the Dame's breakfast and takes another nibble of scone.

August eats politely steadily, as if he were hungry.

"Yes. I suppose. ' she speeds up her meal , all business again

"Lovely tea," Coradel comments, completely at ease.

"I am reluctant to involve you both, but a lead is a lead is a lead. "

August swallows and pats his lips with his napkin before saying "You could hardly involve only one of us...?" puzzled.

"No, we're quite the package deal." She reaches over to take his hand.

A small smile, and squeeze.

"i mean, I am reluctant to involve you... plural" She finishes her meal

"Oh, don't be concerned about that," Coradel says as she rises. "We're the ones involving you."

'the fact i am caught in your wake is not entirely comforting, Baroness" she rises "But point well made"

A bright smile. "No, we are not a tame lion. But we're on your side, I think." A wink. "Please, show us where the portrait resides."

She leads them along the hallways, and takes some odd side movements

August follows along.

Coradel follows, making note of their path should they need to find their way back unescorted.

'too many eyes " she sighs 'far too many" And she opens the door to a storage area "Here we go'
