She moves from pool to pool, watching too see how the sun reacts…

It's a dreaming sun, which means, whenn she looks, not only does she blind herself a bit, she gets a glimpse hat it has a face, seems to be amusing itself judging by the snicker

But, no particular change in sun height at any particular pool that might indicate 'dawn'?

No, i's trolling her? It's ears waggle playfully

Weird.

She looks around for anything growing in the area - plants, flowers.

She finds a sunflower with a similar face, but less sneering

A sigh. "Are you sentient? If so, you'd better say so now before I pick you."

"oh, very, hello" It speaks up, "Love your hair"

"Do you know which one of these pools is which?"

"The sun decides that I'm afraid" itt says helpfully

Piper takes a moment to take a few long breaths. She's getting frustrated, clearly.

Then, she looks up at the sun. She likes the sun. It's not the sun's fault she's on this trip.

"Hello up there. Can you tell us which of these is the dawn pool, please?"

"I'm a rising sun..." It laughs "Where I am is the dawn... oo the maggi swiches... look, i's death.. no wait, it's wisdom... oh nnope.. "It moves againn "Maybe that's powe.mwhaha"

this sun is a bit of a douche. Clearly not a nice california sun

Zane says 'of course, we need to get it to hover over one of the wells long enough for you to drink from..."

"Not in the Dreaming"

"What if one of us stands by each of the pools? Then we're sure to have our bases covered..."

"Not sure that works" Zane says "The SUN's position matters, not us? Or am I misunderstanding?"

Rikki asks "So we have to taser the sun..." She is in human form, looking for her taser

"But if each of us is at one of the pools, the sun has to be closer to one of them. So at that time, that would be the dawn pool... and whoever is by it can get some of the water."

"That... mightt work" Zane says

Jonas grins..

"Won't work, I'll zig zag so fast you won' have time to sip" the Sun bobs back and forth like a time lapse! "i'm a superstar!"

Whoever tried to sip would have only seconds! A gamble

"We don't need to drink it right away, right? We just need to get it. Once it's out of the pool, it's nature should be set...." She says, but looks to Zane, he's the wise man.

"That's true, once the water is taken, it's nature should be locked. Do we have a bottle or vial or something?"

She checks her pockets... does she?

OH nno, she's.. wait, her moms always told her to take some water with hre for long walks, she.. aha! A hikinng flask, half full. She'll want to empty that

She takes out her flask, and carefully pours the water at the base of the friendly flower. "Might as well not waste it."

The Sunflower beams "Oh you're wonderful.. for that, I will tell you something that might be useful?"

"Yes, please! I can use any help I can get..."

"From one blond to another." She grins.

"Ha, victims of jokes yet everyone wants to be us" She agrees then says "That sun? It has ears"

A baffled blink.

"Oooookay. Thank you..." She thanks the flower, and then approaches the pools. Picking one to stand by, a touch nervously.

"And... it can hear you?" the sunflower adds, "Hint hint"

"Of course I cann HEAR you" the sun scoffs, racing back and forth

Piper suddenly looks concerned, realizing, "The one that the sun is closest to might not be dawn. It could as easily be dusk, because it depends on which way it's going." She looks aghast at what might have been a terrible mistake, and backs away again.

"Cattch it on the rise..." Jonas advises

"It's moving so fast. Maybe this is a bad idea." Discouraged.

Rikki starts to sing "Moving up, back on her hooves, on a quest , this is your story! No time to fold, like a pussy with no bold, tthis is your chance for gglorry... it's the song of the Piper, it's the musical might, you just go gently into giving up your blue knight..." As she BUTCHERS Eye of the tiger like bad Karoke, the sun abovee pauses, then winces

A smirk up at the sun. “Don’t like that, do you? Well, we can stay here aaaaaall day. Longer, actually. I mean, what even is time without the cycle of dawn and dusk?”

the sun says "Look, that's horrible.. a rooster crow is poetry compared to that. You're a satyr, how can you allow the defilement"

It looks in pain as Rikki starts another Chorus

She waves a finger in the air like a conductor... badly.

This causes Rikki to Warble... the sun groans ad tries to hide, sinnking to the horizon

She looks... which pool is farthest from the setting sun?
