Dirk? Dirk does not

Brekke leaps back down from the ship, this time foregoing any cantrips if she's got a good chance at landing on an active foe with force.

The redcap's bites appear to be ... rather precise! Hamstringgs slurped out! Spines severed at the cord! He is cripping for life, maiming for years! He is delivery pain! "You fuckers went aftter a Rivervale KID? I'm gona use your living heads as chamberpots...!"

Brekke doesn't seem to have any intention of holding him back.

(Inside) Briar's faces her oppisite, a boy redcap her own age... and nnear him, a female centauress in chains "What the fuck are you, some seelie renegade wus?"

"Seelie?" She snarls, offended, and then more angrily, "WUSS?! RAAAWR!" And she throws herself on him - there is no grace, and no care, she drives a foot up to his crotch even as she shoves her thumbs inward to try to gouge out his eyes. She has Teeth, a redcap's weapon, but she has long since learned to fight with everything else she has, too!

Rolling and snarling in battle with her male counterpart as Gwen and Danica approach in their passageway...

He was ready to punch, to bite, really to bite! But who expects a kick to the groin?( He's Younggg too)

Outside, Sylvi helps restrain any who have surrendered.

Gwen starts to go foward to help as she and Dancia see

but Briar is winning! JAB to the eye with a thumb works!

She uses her own hard head to headbutt the boy. "YIELD, or I'll chew through your GUTS!"

"OKAY.. I was jus doing what my mentor says. I was onnly followingg evil orders, like the COOL guys in history"

(OUTSIDE) No hunters escaped. There was just no way for them to do so... hounds that smelled them, horsemen that could over run them!

Briar stomps on him once more for good measure. Then, notices the trolls. "Gwen! Did you see that Horse-ass over there? WILD!"

At least five of the 20 are chimerically DEAD

Gwen moves to the chained kid and snaps the centaur free, "Makes sense, they were still hunnnting when this all went down"

Brekke scans the survivors to see if she can spot the hunter who was digging pit traps in Rivervale.

She finds him. He was one of the first to surrender it turns ou and tried to escape rather thann fight

She crouches down near him, scowling. "You continued hunting. That...was not wise."

"I didnn't catch another centaur." he says "Just had to make it look like I was still working or Leech would have thought i snitched"

Brekke listens for the lie...?

No? huh

"Hmm." She frowns and looks around. "Which of these tried to grab her in the van?"

"I will gladly narc on each of them" He grins

A brow. "In exchange for...?"

"Leniency" he says "Maybe banishmennt from apples.. or even Concordia a worse?"

"Mm." She regards him narrowly. "I will consider." And she moves away.

"I will load the prisoners on the Kestrel. We could use additional hands to guard them on the return."

Linnea moves in with a nod to the Chief, and binds his hands behind him. She will see that others are similarly tied, even the ones currently unconscious. No faking it here to attack later.

Sylvi looks to Nadeen. "Can you bring my mount back to SilverWolf? I want to help Chieftain Brekke with this."

Nadeen nods "I can...."

She rreclaims Vespa "Oh you won! Thank the dreaming"

Sylvi nods and hands her the reins, patting the horse in thanks. Then she goes to Colton. "I'm going to help on the Kestrel, but I'll be back upstate soon."

The front door of the Hunter Lodge opens once more and Danica steps out, holding up a somewhat subdued Redcap boy by the scruff so he can't bite. An unconscious sluagh under an arm, bleeding, is chucked on the heap of tied baddies.

Gwen follows with a Centauress!

"Chieftain." Danica nods to Brekke.

"You are NOT bringing that home." Calanthe says to Danica. "ONE beast is plenty."

Briar looks pleased by that, rather than offended.

Colton sayss "We'll take him if you want"

Brekke is organizing the loading of prisoners, making sure Dirk is up there first to guard over them should any try to get clever.

A nod to Danica. "Well done."

"Go ahead." Briar says. "I already kicked his ass, and if he came with us, Marigold would want to keep him."

Calanthe does not dispute that, but looks for that red hawk that chased Vespa. Is it still flying around?

Calanthe finds the redhawk imaplled on some thorns! the little kestrel used a shrink move

but it DOES live

Danica, once hands free of the snapping boy, places a hand on her chest and bows to Brekke.

Calanthe sighs at first... a terrible waste... but then the red hawk twitches, and she gathers it up with surprisingly gentleness. "Danica!" She snaps, and the Thane turns. "There are wounded." She starts to say, but the glare in the sidhe's eyes forestalls the troll thane, and she casts a Heatherbalm on the hawk.

The hawk revives!

"To the victor the spoils" Nadeenn says

And is quickly hooded with one of Calanthe's gloves, with skill. A victorious grin to Nadeen, before she realizes she doesn't like her, and returns to looking at her NEW hawk.

And many are wounded. The heroes did not go away unscathed. Some have even been shot, but not lethally so

but Kelby works her own heather balms here and there along with Brekke

Thane Linnea apologizes to the other trolls as she joins in. "Holly strike is more my practice, but I can assist, with some guidance." And she does so.

Nadeen looks troubled "Perhaps I should wait on the healing. it's only a scratch"
