And the satyress grunts, only to find the Chieftain on her!

Brekke gives her a punch, hopefully not so solid to kill, but she does NOT appreciate an ambush.

Oh and what a hit it is! The satyr seems tough, as her kith often is, wired muscles along her arms, strong back, and Brekke gauges well ... she could shatter the neck bone of the woman, instead she twists and hits the solar plexus! Winding the Satyress with a wooosh!

She pushes the wounded satyr to her back, and kneels down with a hand at the woman's neck, not squeezing but warning firmly.

Between her and Olgar, there is no trouble pinning her "Well, that was embarrasing" Olgar says "Huh.. poisoned daggers"

Brekke scowls down at the satyr. "Explain."

"It's just to sicken, not kill" She says grunting "I was supposed to hit and run..fuck. Thought it was easy enough"

And it rings true

"Who gave you your orders?"

"A sidhe name Kenna"

Olgar doesn't have the boon "She set us up?"

He curses

"No," to Olgar, then to the satyr after a slight squeeze, "Try again."

A grunt "Geez you've got a grip like iron" True.. perhaps understated. "Fine. I was told to say that if anyone asked. I was hired by some Daireann lacky. He paid me extra not to ask who. All I had to do was be here when you got here"

"Then wound either you or someone near you... take them out of the defense ... then run."

All true "Geez what happened to the Code of Dagda?"

"It's what's keeping her from ripping your arms out of their sockets" Olgar answers

"He is not wrong. You are, at the moment, the strongest opponent on the field." A glance around by way of demonstration. "What kith was this lacky? Any symbols on him?"

"He wore the Daireann symbols but I think it was more 'working for' sash than actually membership. " SHe shrugs "A boggan."

"Please tell me he had two eyes" Olgar says as if cutting to the chase

Her scowl deepens. Boggans with poison are not, it seems, in her favor.

"Of course he had two eyes.." She looks baffled

And true

Olgar grunts

"Hmm."

"Who is the local lord here?"

"Some Daireann.. and no I don't know who... I wasn't plan on messing with noblity" She answers

a pick up truck is pulling up, to fae eyes it looks like a chariot pulled by Two Winged Boar\

Brekke glances over a the truck/chariot, then at Olgar. "You were the target. Your choice what to do with her."

"I want to know how she knew where to find us. He she knew to be waiting here" He says

"Mm." A nod. "Well?" she asks the satyr. "You heard him."

"I was given this... " She holds up a stone, almost like a disc, flat and smooth. And there is Olgar reflected in it

"The boggan gave it to you?"

"Yeah. He said something had been planted on your trod hopper and... it would be easy." she says

She gives Olgar a sharp look.

"SOn of .." Olgar searches his scabbard "They planted..." A smaller stone. Otherwise twin to the larger one

Then, "Stand up," She doesn't let the satyr go, so she doesn't so much get to her hooves as get lifted to her hooves.

She takes the stone from the satyr and crushes it in her free hand.

And a figure approaches, "Brekke, I assume? I'm Kenna. And... "A brow "The satyr I do not know" True.
