He reaches out and takes their lead ropes... or... offers a hand. "Good goat, uh. Nice goat?"

Slapdash denoumout is what it was Quetz mutters

"Maybe Myrtle Ann wants to make cheese?"

The goats make bleats and bump the hand. Well, one bumps, the other nuzzles

"You can still talk." He whispers, pleased!

"I'll make sure you get the next rooster. Hey Dagmar, ready to set up a Nativity scene at the Barn?" A snicker. "CJ in the manger, watch out that the goats don't nibble him."

"Ha!"

Goats are tied to follow Star - going home is more leisurely.

"We did it. We really did it. Map completed. Well, soon." He starts walking, enjoying the view now that they're on the home stretch.

"Exactly. Big damn heroes."

Lovecraft eyes Symon wit ha sad sort of look, like a toy is broken, but goes along

He scoops her up and sets her on his shoulder. "Next... not all. Not even most."

"Thor had goats that pulled his ride... but heck if I can remember how to pronounce them. Dagmar, you did the first two Deeds of Valgarde.... you name them. My shoulders are full."

And then they come to the trod's rath, and the autumn realm

"Mmm.. dunno yet. They might wind up at the DeBukes..."

"Think of what Kerri might be able to do with Goat Cheese..."

"I don't think Dad'll let me keep goats." She waves at Vali!

"Welcome back, guys I..." he blinks "you have goats"

"Oh, but Kerri!"

Mmmm, old goat cheese, fermented and tangy... fizzy with mouldering.

"Yeah, they were prizes for taking down this Giant..."

"I think we did extra deeds. There was... ...a... boat."

He fills in Vali with what he remembers while it is fresh!

Svarts and boats and fond looks from a large woman.... well, he doesn't share that last.

He nods "Actually, the adventure on this one I might dream about. Did.. did you guys have anything really go your way? I tried to use author influence. Not sure if it worked"

"Symon was smart!"

"Symon usually is" he admits "Congrats, guys. proud of you"

"Dagmar was INVISIBLE!"

"Oh, you gotta try those out here!"

"Dagmar usually isn't.. invisible that is. Neat"

"Yessssss....."

He hugs his pack close, and checks to make sure that the boots made it on the crossing.

"Oh, and.... did you get something for the chief?" Maybe when Dagmar checks her pack later, she'll find that in the whirlwind, she found time to pick out the perfect gift.

More perfect than goats?

"You dreamed a pretty big dream, Sir Vali. It didn't suck." High praise from the Sluagh, who seems to be in fine spirits.
