She offers to take it "I can take that for you and hold it here for you if you want ? or drop it off at your house if you're not going to see your folks"

"Thanks, I appreciate. Okay, we got sustenance... Symon, you about ready?"

"If the Squire wants something to do, tell him to clean the blood off of it." A gruesome smile.

Sally Mae says "Oh goodness. I'll clean it myself. No need to scare the boy"

"I got most of it off when I was talking to Amazon in the baths."

"Aw. The Pitt cleaned it up already I think. But there might be some dents he can work on. I just wanted to imagine his face."

A chuckle that turns into a muted cough.

"Alright, we're going.."

"Oh, right. Seeya Sally Mae! Tell my parents I said hi!"

"Amazon in... well, I'll hear about it later. You two have fun.. I guess" Sally mae waves

He waves, taking the pic-a-nic basket with!

Dag beats Symon to the stable, to get Star into her tack. Flying saddle, panniers, a pillion pad for the sluagh...

Lovecraft eyes Quetz , Quetz eyes Lovecraft

"Okay, Stormwake - you keep Spark out of too much trouble. Connor, you're doing great!"

Stormwake nods . He'll keep that young foal in line by providing a good example of warhorse hood

She double checks all of the straps and buckles.

Soon it looks like Symon will have one on each shoulder. PET WARS!

Dagmar swings into the saddle before pulling Symon up to the pillion. And soon enough, they are on the road - to the little bridge that leads way into the Dreaming.

Symon is too distracted reassuring both critters that they are lovely and good to even remember to be uncomfortable about the ride!

Vali wavesas they go by, "Don't forget, turn at the .." Instructions

Nod nod nod. They know!

And off they go, the silver path widens and splits and forks and divides and...they are lost in the Dreaming.

For miles and miles they travel... until they pass by a forest... and trees with print , script, and text flowing on every leaf , ever bit of bark....

In a hole in a ground.. one reads..

Mr. and Mrs. Dursley of number four... another says

They have entered the Fantasy Fiction forest!

"Oh, this is kinda cool..."

"Symon, bet they have your books here."

"All of them..." He grins, then looks grim. "Hopefully not all of them."

A figure lands, and ROARS! A huge lion, bigger than the horses and...

Quetz hisses. Lovecraft puffs up! And Star? STAMPS

The Lion's eyes go wide and he flees back into the forest

"Oh! The Cowardly Lion!"

"Vali said it was near Oz..."

"Oh, Oz I can handle. I was more thinking...." He strokes Lovecraft and smiles thinly. "Eldritch things we need not name."

"Some king of the forest, huh? Lovely queen cat." He praises the kitty softly.

"Right, those books with the squid guy."

And Quetz gets some loving too. Star? She's transportation. Luckily, Dagmar can spoil her.

"You do not want to meet Squid guy or his friends. They make Skallstryke sound like a bad hair day."

"Noted. So... Silverhand, Silverhand..."

"Maybe we should have asked the Chief. Isn't that, you know... her?"

"Sure you guys don't want to head North East?" Asks a man typing on a typewriter "I hear Maine is lovely this time of year" A chimerical Stephen King waves

"We're good, thanks."

"I liked Christine...." He whispers with a wave back.

"Thanks!" King, at least chimerical King, apparently appreciates a fan "Nice cat and snake... oooo... a mysterious hotel with a cat and snake pattern overlaid.. turns out to be a masonic lodge from yesteryear... an EVIL masonic lodge..." And he gets to typing

"Remind me to check his releases in a year or two." He grins to Dagmar.

Very near where the Cowardly Lion leaped (But sticking to the Silver) the two heroes make their way towards what appears to be Oz..without going INTO oz. The latter seems tricky.

"It'd be cool if Dreamers came here while sleeping, yeah."
