"Glad you had fun. What's Rivervale like? Is it all snow and trolls?"

She laughs. "No, only mostly snow and trolls."

"Plus we have real nice summers. There's forest all around, lots of green and lots of animals. And we have horses."

A grin "Figured it wasn't that simple that that's what comes to mind when I shut my eyes and think about it"

"Oh, horses. the countess has a firemare. Like that old 80s flick Krull?"

"Fancy!"

He nods. "Do they do alright in colder climates? Never seen anything like him in Bergen, I can say that much."

"Dunno about fire horses..."

"Ours do good, though. Sometimes they need blankets, and extra hay."

"Chimera are different. I imagine he'd be fine in the cold if you let him rest by the Rivervale fire.. the bale might let him acculimate." the Eiluned tells SYMON

Amazon nods to DAGMAR then grins "Got no idea about horses. I mean, I've got my own hooves after all. I know they look nice, but.. never ridden"

"Most satyrs don't seem interested. Got a friend who does, but that's just the one."

"Hey, nice to have friends who share common interrests" She looks Dagmar over "particularly when they're as cute as you"

She purples!

"Hm. I guess it'll be up to this guy. If he wants to come along. So far he's just hanging out for the ride. Guess it's because I fed 'em. Should have known better. Dagmar, she's the softy, though she's solid stone when she sets herself against something."

Amazon shrugs "I'm just saying, I know trolls have this magic edge, but it's cldear you worked for that toned look on top of it. "

"I've noticed. So is that what you're calling him? Guy?" the Sidhe eyes what appears to be SYMON's new Pet

"Not calling him anything yet. He might not stick around. Not giving him a name." He grins a little. "If he decides to stay, I'll think about it."

"Fair point." she says "You may have to turn him into boots"

The ghost snake gives a reptilian look of cool 'don't even think about it mammal' ism

"Well, I mean, all trolls are pretty strong... but satyrs, like, they're real athletic, too..." She folds her arms on the edge of the tub, resting her chin on them.

"Oh we've got stammina to burn" She nods "We do not tire easily. It's an edge I am not ashamed to say I use. SOmetimes when i face off against a troll I go on the evasion for a bit.. just to have them burn off some of their omph"

"If I had to name a beast like this, I might go with something like... 'Quetz'." Pronounced, Ketz. "But maybe that's a little too on the nose." He taps the snake lightly on the nose. "Might ask someone with the Whisper to ask him if he already has one."

the snake flicks a tongue to sniff/lick Symon's nose

He makes a face. "I wonder if normal folk can learn that Coatl tongue. It's nice sounding. Quiet, and sibilant. Nice to listen to."

"I would say being able to speak to Coatls and the like automatically makes you 'not normal' but then, that's not a terrible burden is it?"

"I don't think I've ever been normal. Even among the abnormal of the abnormal. But hey, I'm maybe interesting."

"I'm An Eiluned more interested in steel than sorcery. Without the oddballs, they'd have no basis for norm. They owe us" Mitra smirks

A soft snicker. "I'd like to see Dagmar fight you some day. Just for fun."

"Oh, I would go armored into that fight. I'd hit her more times than she hit me... but arguably, she only has to hit me once if it's the right hit. Still" Curious "I would probably enjoy it"

Amazon looks at Dagmar "Enjoying the soak? "

"mm-hmm"

"I'm glad" Amazon says "You should visit again sometime. I could show you around"

"I think I'd like that, when not on quest."

"The trod trip is real easy."

"maybe I should visit to see the snow and trolls" Amazon grins

"Sure!"

"First , leg warmers"

"Not enough fur?"

"For Jersey if I visit in winter?"

"Mmm... Piper's from California and she gets cold, like, in September. So probably, yeah."

"Oh, the troubadour" Interest "ywah she was good!"

"She is. Do you play? My mom's a musician."

"I know about three licks on a guitar, and two on a piano" A grin " I can dance better than I play but not my passion"

He nods too. "I like seeing her fight. She gets this focused look... and you can tell that she is really intent. It's.. like, Gwyds get a bad rap for battle fever, but unless you really - and I mean, like, REALLY push her, Dags is cool as a cucumber in a fight."

"Sometimes it's the matter of degree of wound" Mitra says "it's more than just insulting them. I'm not sahying you're wrong. Just never take her control for granted"

Symon nods. Despite himself, he's enjoying the chat, and the chess. Eventually he's sure to start nodding off. But until then, it's a fun challenge to see how much he can get from the Eilunid and how little to give in return.

Oh.. she gets some back he's sure.. but it wouldn't be too fun if it was easy
