"I yield" Abeuala says "The prize is hers. The land is appeased. And.. so should hte crowd be." A call out "The Knight beats the Dragon, and the Dragon?" She chuckles "Would like a nap"

Dagmar laughs. "Good game, Abuela. And thank you. And I think I might need help getting up."

Cheers break out from the crowd money is exchanged.

Symon slides down, clinging with his fingers to the side of the ring, dropping the last few feet to scramble over.

And a healer is almost run over by Symon as they both head to heal Dagmar

"Dagmar, that was wicked." Dark eyes shining in glee.

"That was fun!"

He gestures the healer closer, "C'mon, help them up."

"Aw, sh-..." Grandmas! "Aw, heck, I am totally stuck. I feel like a turtle."

"Pardon... pardon" A surly boggan says "I was trying to and then I got run over" He moves to Dagmar and takes some oil, and rubs the armor and lets it seem in "A little Dab will do you"

And the worst of her injures fade.

Another healer, looks like they've got more than one, is laying a sacred cloth over the feathered serpent

"If we'd chosen a battle of skill at chess... how would the land be appeased?" He wonders aloud.

"Sharp edges on the Pieces" Mitra might be joking

"Thanks, thanks..." Extricating from the sand and rubble. "Oof. Yeah, I think the land got a big gulp from the both of us."

And Abuela rises , able to fly again "Oh yes. Gluttonous thing the land. Now.. bring forth the prize." SHe glances over at Dagmar "It is the map piece you want, nothing else? There are other prizes"

Mitra moves closer to Abuela "Grandmother, we don't boast of those too often lest we draw would be thieves"

"I'm on a quest, the map piece is what I need."

Symon looks curious, but doesn't nay-say his champion.

An aside - "Good luck to any thief trying to get around Abuela."

And the map is brought forward in a glass case.

Symon might be disturbed. In the afterglow of battle, Dagmar is even more impressive. And.. in ways he doesn't normally notice. It's not hard for tihs Pillar of the Mountain to surminse that the hold, if not the land itself, rewards the warriors with added appeal.

Or maybe it has something to do with chimerical pheromones ? Alas, no glands to compare

She takes off her helm and shakes out her hair.

No glands he's allowed to surgically remove that... wow.. her hair

"Let's get out of here. You need a cookie?" Swallowing.

Folks are cheering, roses are falling down, drinks are offered

"Healer got most of it... if I can get into those springs at Fenix, that'd probably fix the rest..."

She catches a flower and smiles. "This place is cool."

He nods. "We probably breached some protocol by not checking in with the Countess.. we should stop by and let her know we were here."

Mitra says "your choice, you're the hero of the moment, though they can be fickle. Still, no better place for healing than Fenix"

The flower, cut and lovely, yet dying, wilting by milimeters, and held by a wielder of sharp-edged doom...

Flyswatter. Flyswatter is safe. He GRUNTS and heaves it over a shoulder, stumbling. "Here, lemme just... carry this."

"Oh, hey - Sy, we could crash here? Dunno, I'm good with either."

Now he can look at the ground.

"You're welcome to stay for the night" Mitra says.

"Of COURSE they are" Abuela nods "What kind of hold are we only to take their blood and offer no rest?"

"I bet with an Eiluned regent, there's a decent library..."

oooh, is it smart to GLARE at a Baroness on the blood-stained grounds of her own pit?

Books! Books are safe. He nods. "You should go rest up. Or if you feel better, talk to the other gladiators. I should go find the library..."

"Sounds good. Hey, is there a place I can wash up? Can't wait to get out of this armor..."

Out of that...
Oh, he's out of there. Craven he, flees.

"This way, I'll show you the library.." Mitra says "Shard, would you show her to the shower and clean up area? To the door I mean?"

Mitra blinks "Or he could wander around... pardon" She moves on

"Guess he was excited about it..."

Shard, a dark skinned troll who has the looks of a champion himsef looks at her "My honor. You won much glory tonight. This way"

"Thanks!" Chipper!

Moves to where he can find a spot relatively alone, and thinks. Dagmar - picturing her in his head. A solid, friend-shaped rock. Right?

Then peering back behind him at Dagmar, Champion of the Pitt...

And he leads her to the arch "Women only in there.. if you need help, one of the others will aid you in removing armor .There are showers, but also both tubs for heating and cooling down if you feel a soak is required. We have volunteers who clean the armor. All blood will be returned to you in the form of clothes if you insist"
