Hobgoblins found themselves either taken for granted, or ignored by the mortals. And they grew rebellious, truculent..

And here stands EBG in all his glory.

Hobgoblins no longer bowed, they no longer served, and mankind rewarded them with either disbelieef, or tried to make them pranksters or trouble makers, or even monsters... as if one who didn't serve without pay or respect was clearly a snotty puck.

The Hobgolins changed more, but eventually they withered, or died.. a failed dream never to return.

And EBG Feels... glorious, as if the Dreaming himself has gifted him with proof he was right!
